Happy late Birthday Kaitlyn!

Kaitlyn turned 9 this year! I cant' believe how old she is getting and how fast time flies by!

We had an enjoyable time playing with her cousin for her birthday party.
We went to the ShowLow pool and played until couldn't play anymore, they were worn out!

Can I have a bandaid? or 2 or 3 or 10!

Spenny had a little scratch on her leg one day and kept bugging me for a bandaid, I kept putting her off because it really wasn't that bad. I guess being the independent person that she is decided to take care of it herself. I died laughing when I saw her!!

Update on Derik

I am sitting here in the hospital with Derik and just wanted to give an update on how he is doing. We were able to start him back on his feeds today at half strength he has been able to keep it down. So tonite we are going to feed him his regular feeding through out the night and hopefully he will be able to keep it down and tolerate it. If he does, we will be able to go home tomorrow. I wanted to thank EVERYBODY for everything that has been done to help out our family the last couple of weeks. It is so wonderful to have such an awesome support system, especially through the people of the church. What an amazing organization!! I was talking to a Dr. last night about all the help we have been given through the church and she was amazed that there are people out there like that, that are willing to help those that are in need and put their own busy schedules to the side to be there for us. Thanks for all the prayers!!

Deriks end of school play

We couldn't ask for a better aid for school. Cherelyn's been awesome! We hope to keep her as Deriks aid as looong as possible.

Derik was in Ms. Connors class, he loved being in there. She let them watch T.V.! haha

You gotta love Spenny, I got me an exercise bike and didn't put it in my room right away, we were getting ready to give the kids a bath and I looked out and saw Spenny butt naked riding the bike. It was sooo funny! She had no clue that I was behind her and was taking pictures of her. Shes gonna kill me in about 15 yrs!

What would we do without Lexi giving us something to laugh at? My mom has these 2 exercise balls and the kids love to stick them in their shirts and pretend that they really have boobies. I have to admit, she had a pretty
cute figure with the boobies. Scarey!

Easter at Grandma and Grandpa Halls

The kids enjoyed coloring easter eggs over in Taylor this year. For some reason spenny couldnt figure out that green wasn't the only color that she could color her eggs. She had a whole dozen of green eggs!

Grandpa Hall LOVES his Derik! Any chance he gets to hold him he will. Derik knows that he is loved too.

Ruger wasn't quite old enough to care about coloring eggs yet.

Which was fine by me, that many less eggs to have to cook!

I know I am soooo far behind on my blogging, but I am going to try my hardest to get caught up with everything that has happened with us since March.
Pooor Ruger! We went to Roosevelt for spring break, all week long we made sure that we would tie the screen door shut behind us. Well the one time we didn't look what happened. We all walked into the trailer I set Ruger down, Spencer was busy with the other kids. I remembered that I needed something that was outside so I ran out real fast and Ruger followed! Down the steps he went.

I can't believe my baby is one! Time flys by so fast, holy cow. As you can see I didn't get very creative with the cake because I knew it would be a waste of time. We didn't do much because Deriks been really sick and didn't think we needed a whole lot of people around him. So we just had Lon, Toni, & Olivia come over for dinner & cake and ice cream. But it was good to have them over.

He had a blast digging into his cake (of course he did, its food). He was maxed out though by the end. The girls laughed and laughed at him watching him eat that cake. It was pretty funny.

You are probably wondering, "What the Heck"? I had a Dr. appt. the other day and Spencer being the wonderful dad he is stayed home and babysat the kids. I walked in the door and heard Spencer laughing in my room. So I walked in there and he was taking pictures of Ruger. Spencer took tape and taped his ears in and smashed his nose down. He looked awful, but it was pretty funny. Theres never a dull moment around our house when Spencers home!

Future MHS Wrestlers

We've got a while to go before we see anymore wrestlers from the Porter family. The next one will be Bailey. This is of course if he decides to wrestle.

Nolan did a really good job this year in wrestling. He took 5th at state, we all know he could've done better if it wasn't for the ref. We are proud of him and his nephews all look up to him.

Mexico Hunt

Spencer keeps bugging me to blog his Mexico hunt. He was so excited to go with the guys, he was loosing sleep over it for months!! He had some serious anxiety issues. I dont think he's ever been so excited about something in his whole life. He had a very fun time, I was glad he was able to go.

He went with Jake Tenney, Craig Blackburn, Daniel Franco, Ira Parry, & Greg Gardner. "What happens in Mexico, stays in Mexico" I dont even want to know what happened in Mexico. HaHa!

Spencer took a picture of the country that they were hunting in, its beautiful. Nothing I expected Mexico to look like. Last but not least, I had to save the best for last!! I had to make sure I got Daniels permission before I posted this one.

Im not even going to begin to explain this one. Thats why I said I dont even want to know what went on in Mexico.

DragRaces!!!

Wow what a fun day!! We went to the drag races with Dustin & Sarai, Daniel & Marcie, Monti & Robbi, Jake & Courtney. It was a lot of fun.

After the races were over we went to the pits to see if we could see any drivers. We saw Antron Brown so we went over to see him. While we were standing there I told the girls I was going to ask him for his hat & have him sign it. So we got our picture taken & I was so nervous I couldn't do it. So Sarai said "hey my friend wants to know if she can have your hat and she wants you to sign it for her." So he said "really" then I said "yes". So he took off his hat and signed it and gave it to me!

Then of course, the guys decided that they needed a picture with Ashley Force. Shes really an awesome driver for being a girl! She went head to head with her dad John Force and bearly lost, it was really cool to see that.

Then we saw one more driver out Cory McClenathan. After we got out picture the guys wanted to get one with him. When they got theirs Spencer said hey my wife wants your hat and wants you to sign it for her. So took off his hat signed it and then gave it to me. Sarai didnt think that was very fair that I got 2 hats so I was nice and let her have that one. But it was really a fun day. Good to get away for a little while!!!

Alexis had her b-day on the 6th. I cant believe that she is already 7! She had a really fun birthday party. We had her Aunt Olivia and her cousin Torin and Kaitlyn put makeup on all the girls and paint there fingerails.

Then there Ruger, that kid wont miss out on the oppurtunity to eat! He loves cake.

Party Pooper !!! Dont ask me how you can sleep in a house of noisey girls.

We had to get a picture of all the girls after they got there makeup and nails done. Silly girls.

I just have to brag about how awesome coupons really are! I never thought growing up I would ever use them, boy was I silly. A couple of my friends & I went down to frys on Shea Blvd. one evening, I saved 228. & spent 66! Its awesome, everybody should try it.
